Yesterday in English class with John Madden (yes, that is his name and no, not the foot-ball guy,) we did a practice SAT essay. The prompt was something along the lines of "Consider the quote 'There's no success like failure.' What is your view on this matter?"
We had some interesting responses, everywhere from giving up to a two page response about how the quote is logically wrong.
OK. So right now the only "big" thing that is going on is planning a fund-raiser. Most of this work is being done by the dashing Bob. He is organizing the effort to put together a "dinner theatre;" we will cook and serve a meal, and then preform a series of skits and one-acts. It is still in the early planning stages (what you've read is what we've got.)
To help with the cooking part, we will be having a class taught by Monique Hooker, hopefully starting next week.
Its time for me to start another day of school, so TTFN.

Wednesday Blogs
Let's say, every Wednesday morning is Blog Day. I'll come into school, and post a blog. There will be plenty of others as well, but Wednesday morning is a definite.
So, anyways, I am a student at Laurel High' in Viroqua, WI. We have been trying to start a newsletter, and I decided that this might be easier. I started a blog last year, actually, but I've forgotten the password. Don't let my absentmindedness reflect on the school!
So I think this is long enough for a first blog, and I have to go to English class now anyway.
